EDIT: This was written back in February. I forgot that I saved it in drafts and did not put it up until now when I was going through my drafts. :( Check it out though!

So being a subscriber to Eco Emi for about 5 months now just in time to reach their February ONE YEAR Anniversary Box, I have not been able to use all of my samples up until now. They are such amazing products and would recommend it if you’re going on the organic/natural path like me! I used 6 different natural products before, during, and after my shower. While air drying my hair, here are some of the products that I used today. I’ll put in links as I review them!

Before I went to school, I used the Freedom Gloss by Revolution Organics in Innocent. This was a full size sample that came in their one year anniversary box and it costs $26 bucks. It’s free of so many chemicals and of course parabens and it’s animal cruelty FREE, which is why I love it and it’s worth it just for $26 bucks! They have it in 5 different colors including of which mine was Innocent and the other 4 are Vibe, Truth, Integrity, and Freedom. I try to use it less often, but I like how it applies smoothly onto your lips. You can use it to tone down red lipstick if it’s a little too bold for you just by itself.

Throughout the day I used Merry Hempsters’ Endangered Wildlife Organic Lip Balm in Peppermint North Pacific Whale. The reason why it’s called this way is because they are promoting endangered species throughout the world and by promoting it as a lip balm, they would be able to help the cause. This costs $2.99 each, but if you buy them in a box, it costs $52.50. They have 6 different kinds of flavors including peppermint, unscented, spearmint, lemon-line, orange, vanilla and cinnamon. This lip balm goes on really smoothly. The ingredients are really great especially if you have really sensitive lips and are prone to drying and cracking easily. The peppermint oil is an essential oil and there are no preservatives and frangrances. It kept my lips moisturized throughout the whole day.

Before my shower, I used Extra Virgin Coconut Oil by Kelapo. It’s a really great moisturizer if you’re using it as a beauty product and it is also great as a cooking agent. It’s a much healthier alternative rather than using vegetable oil. They have different kinds of sizes, but I’m about to buy the 8oz. glass jar and that is $7.69. Basically, coconut oil is a solid, so I had to warm it up in the packet by rubbing it between my hands. I poured it into my hands and I first started at my scalps working all the way down to the ends of hair. I left it on for about 2 hours and then I took a shower. I could already feel the softness of my hair when it was damp and even after I blow dried and straightened my hair. It controlled my frizz and my hair didn’t look so dry. I promised myself that I would do this hair treatment routine twice or three times a week since I use a lot of heat to my hair. :(

During my shower I used the Energy Shampoo and Conditioner by Green Body Green Planet. They also have a Revitalizing Shampoo and Conditioner. It is such an amazing shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo and conditioner are about $24 bucks each. They also sell free sample packs for $5.95 which I think is a pretty good deal because you can try it out and see if you like it. A little goes a long way, but since I have thick hair, I put a little more so it can get the full coverage. It’s really great because it leaves my hair soft and controlled. The ingredients are really great in this product because they contain “13 USDA Certified Organic plant extracts and oils” which are healthy and good for your scalp and hair. It smells really good like lavender and grapefruits and leaves my bathroom smelling nice after a shower. :)

Also during my shower, I used Suds Soap by Oluv Skin and it is PURELY made out of extra virgin olive oil and salt to nourish and hydrate your skin. For a 1oz. bar it costs $4.29 and a 4oz. bar costs $8.58. No preservatives, parabens, and other harsh chemicals which is why I enjoyed this during my shower. It left my skin feeling smooth and refreshed. I used it with my loofah. It doesn’t give a great lather, but when you wash away the soap excess, your skin feels squeaky clean and I love that feeling. They sell many other things like for your lips, face, gift bags, travel, etc. using just EVOO which is great because it’s vegan cruelty free.

After my shower I used To Go Crystal Essence Mineral Deodorant Towelettes in Lavender and White Tea. The smell is by far the best scent combination you could ever imagine. I got 4 sample towelettes, but if you buy a 24 pack, it costs only $9.99 which is such a great deal. For the towelettes, you just tear off the packaging and it comes out wet. You open up the towelette and use it just like you would wipe sweat off your armpits with a towel. It may be wet for a little while and it may feel like you’ve been sweating for hours, but it takes a while to dry. It does leave my armpits really smooth and smelling fresh. The great thing about this product is that it doesn’t have ingredients of aluminum, pthalates, and parabens like commercial deodorants. They sell more than just towelettes, but also in sticks, sprays, and roll ons and having it in different scents makes it more fun!

Everyone knows about the Yes To Carrots, Blueberries, Cucumbers. etc. I tried the Yes To Cucumbers Facial Towelettes and it is very gentle to my face. It’s free of parabens and its animal cruelty free. LOVE these kinds of products.

Yup, that was my experience today. I am definitely going to buy full packs for some of these products and others that came in my Eco Emi boxes which I am really excited for because you can’t find these products in regular stores and they are actually 100% natural which is why my Oluv Suds soap is already melting into pieces. LOL. but yay, the picture included are the products I reviewed today as well as the links will help you to see what kind of things they sell. This does not include the Oluv Soap because it was too soft too handle and it was still wet (LOL). Hope you guys enjoyed and are more than interested. PS. Collective Haul of Spring Break?! (Clothing and Natural)

I needed workout clothes for my job, so I went out during Easter with my mom and my cousin at UTC. LOL. Funny story to go along with this. So we went into UTC. ALL THE STORES WERE CLOSED. We walked around and found ONLY GAP, GAP BODY, AND GAP KIDS to be open. My cousin was like, “It’s ‘cuz they’re atheist. Bitches don’t give a fuck about Easter.” LOL! But anyways Gap was the only store opened and I went in and instantly fell in love with these. I got the capri for $20 and the tank for $20 PLUS a 20% off. Good deal! They are in the GapFit line. Super comfortable that I think I want another pair of each kind.

I’ve gotten the common cold over the week of Spring Break. The only thing that hasn’t recovered is my coughing. I’ve been coughing every 30 seconds to a minute and I hate it. Ricola has been my cough reliever for the past 3 days. I’m still coughing, but not as much as I did 3 days ago. I love Ricola. I got it for $3.37 at CVS, but you can also get it at any grocery or drugstore. I eat this like candy! :D

Did an Ulta stop and browsed around. I needed some bobby pins so I got them for a good $1.69 because I’m going to try out non-heat wave curls that I discovered while watching one of my favorite beauty gurus, AndreasChoice on Youtube! :D We both have the same hair so hopefully this works. I also wanted to try out these Yes To Bluberries Facial Towelettes that I got for $2.99 so I’m gonna pack up some primer and shadow on the first day back to school just to see how these work :) and I’m going to wake up extra early to have time to do my makeup. :)

I went to my local Whole Foods Market and I’ve wanted to try out the Vitamin C Chews with Zinc in it because it’s been a featured item in the natural “environment” and I love fruity, citrus-y flavors so I bought one at $14.99 for 30 chews. Amazingly incredible taste and I love it! I also passed by some sales and noticed some candles for sale. I love candles lit up in my room for great smell and in a recent EcoEmi box I got a sample of the scent Pine by Big Dipper Wax Works and luckily some of the candles at Whole Foods was selling Big Dipper Wax Works. I got excited so I bought one in Marjoram YlangYlang Nutmeg for a 1.9 oz at a sale price of $4.99. It’s 100% Beeswax and pure essential oils. It smells so darn GOOD! I also bought artisan body soap by Hugo Naturals and they were on sale for $1.25/oz. I got 2 in Lavendar Mint and 1 in Oatmeal Mint. They both smell amazing and I can’t wait to try it tonight. Lastly, I bought a reusable bag. It says, “I support local farmers.” We buy the bags to support local farmers to keep doing what they do to have a great natural and greener environment by being able to use their farm grown plants, herbs, etc. and use it into products made natural and organic.
